Applerouth Tutoring presents: “The Truth about the Ivy League” with Dr. Victoria Tillson Evans

Many people believe that these schools are the best in the nation. While they do afford certain opportunities, they are not the best schools for everyone. Learn what it takes to get into an elite college as well as about some of the common myths surrounding the life, academics, and admissions process from someone who has actually been there.

The Inter-American Development Bank presents: “Finding Financial Aid for Foreign Families” with Dr. Victoria Tillson Evans

Many international students and their families fear that they won’t qualify for any financial aid at American universities, yet this couldn’t be further from the truth. Members of the Inter-American Development Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank communities are invited to come and learn about how the financial aid system works, how to apply for aid, and how to identify colleges that will meet their families’ financial needs. A light lunch and beverages will be provided.
